East London comes to Mayfair as the South-East Asian restaurant Yuu Kitchen takes up residency at the ICEBAR London. Yuu Kitchen is inspired by the fun and freshness of flavours from south-east Asia and the Pacific Rim and the team from Yuu Kitchen Spitalfields are delighted to bring their new offering to a more intimate setting off Regent Street, W1. The Head Chef Jon de Villa brings his experience from Nobu London and travels across South-East Asia to Yuu Kitchen to create a vibrant menu of flavours. With a Pinoy section giving a nod to Filipino cuisine and some of Jon’s family recipes handed down over the years. Perhaps south-east Asia’s last secret cuisine, Philippine inspired food is mix of Indian, Chinese, Spanish and American influences. 

Before indulging in favourites such as soft pillowy Taiwanese Bao Buns with a range of fillings from Panko Jackfruit to Soft Shell Crab or Pork Belly Braised in 7UP take a step into the ICEBAR London where you will be transported to a world of ice thrones and sculptures. Constructed completely out of ice, the bar is kept at a chilling -5 degrees with all the ice imported from Sweden the ICEBAR has become a gem nestled behind Regent’s Street. With the theme of fire and ice brought together, it’s the perfect pairing to invigorate your senses. Yuu Kitchen at ICEBAR London represents opposite themes of fire and ice brought to life by the striking dragon mural that signifies the theme of fire within Asian culture.

Pinoy classics with a Yuu twist includes Lechon Kawali (12 hour braised pork belly with Mama Sita’s sauce) Crispy Pigs Ears and Chicken Insasal. Jon’s Pinoy dishes introduces guests to Filipino favourites with a London touch. Maximum flavours from slow cooked meats, 12 hour braised Lechon Kawali, delicious home-made recipes, like the tangy adobo wings, brings a fresh new take on familiar dishes.
