For those wanting to indulge in the history of the city’s finest and first distillery, the tour of Oxford’s Artisan’s Distillery is one of true unique indulgence,discovering the principles of distilling and follow the production process which makes the craft spirits incredibly unique.. Using sustainable grown populations of ancient heritage grain to create, cultivate and curate the very finest spiritsas well as growing their own grain, you’ll get the opportunity to see their beautifully crafted hand made copper stills.

In order to create distinctive spirits from field to bottle, the distillery built their own stills with the help of artisans and engineers who share their ideals on craft and total provenance. South Devon Railway Engineering are steam engine craftsmen and are the greatest historical industrial coppersmiths in England.

You’ll be shown how the vodka, gin, absinthe and rye whisky are made following every step of the journey from grain to bottle. This close you’ll gain a real appreciation of the extra mile they go to make this a true craft distillery. The tour will finish with an opportunity to ask questions and taste a selection of our spirits.


Hosted by one of the three founders this tour gives a unique insight into the journey from conception all the way to bottle. You will spend time learning how they source the ingredients and the work that goes into making their unique vodka, gin, absinthe and rye whiskey. After this in-depth tour, you be hosted in an extended tasting session, taking you through all the different spirits and finishing with a large gin and tonic.
